Money and EmotionsOnce you begin working with the Law of Attraction in order to increase your financial abundance, you will begin to become aware of how closely your emotions are tied up with money.

While your emotions have the power to drastically benefit your ability to accumulate and attract more money, they also have the power to effectively block your ability to create abundance. Remember that it is you emotions that will determine what thoughts you are sending out to the universe.

If you focus your emotions in the right way, you will boost your ability to attract more money, but if you hold powerful emotions on the wrong end of the spectrum, it will block the abundance you wish to attract.

To understand how this works, we must look at two main considerations when it comes to money and your emotions:

1. Emotional states that resist or block abundance.

These emotional states are: fear, desperate need, anger, powerlessness and uncertainty. If you desire more money yet you worry about your ability to handle it, you will resist it. If you desperately need more money because you are in a severe state of lack, your very dependence upon it the money is what will push it away.

Believing that money is the answer to all of your problems is also a sure way to block abundance because you are placing an excessive amount of importance on money, when it’s really not about the money at all. Granted, money can make your life a little easier, but if your life is a mess when your broke, it will still be a mess when you do have the money that you desire!

2. Emotional states that attract abundance.

On the opposite end of the spectrum are emotions that actually call forth greater abundance into your life. These emotions are: gratitude, optimism, passion, joy, appreciation and hopefulness.

The first thing that you need to do if you want to start attracting more money into your life, is to first become grateful for what you already have. Learn to appreciate the good things in your life, even if everything is not perfect.

When something good happens to you, take a few moments to reflect on it and be grateful for it. At the same time, learn to embrace an optimistic view of the future. If you expect good things, you will begin to attract good things to you.

Expect plenty of opportunities to grow and develop as a person, opportunities to advance your career, and opportunities to attract more money.

As you shift your focus to lighter emotions like this, you begin to change the vibrations that you send out into the universe. When you combine this vibrations with focused steps of action, you will begin to notice a definite improvement in the tangible abundance you experience in your daily life.

It’s critical to note that it may take time to see results, especially if you’ve been focusing more on those negative emotions for a long period of time. The hardest part can be trying to focus on the positive emotions even when your circumstances aren’t the way you wish them to be . . . yet!

That “yet” is very important, because you have to be willing to believe that things can change and WILL change, even if they haven’t already. If your mind can conceive it and your heart can believe it, then you can achieve it.

Keep at it and watch how your life transforms before your eyes into a life of great abundance, that is what the Law of Attraction has to offer you.
